RON FREDERICKSON(President, Director of Corporate and Product Development, Victoria, British Columbia)
Mr. Frederickson has had an entrepreneurial career in the sports, sports betting and iGaming industry with extensive business experience and has been responsible for the creation, design and engineering of numerous commercial and consumer based proprietary products, helping Skybox Sports Network (SSN) establish itself in its current market niche.
Mr. Frederickson has committed his activities as a co-founder of SSN in identifying and delivering a level of quality to the customers and is jointly responsible for the Company’s product development, mergers, acquisitions and global growth opportunities.
Ryan Cahoy(Chief Revenue Officer,Shawnee, KS)
Mr. Cahoy has been involved with LED ticker displays for over 20 years helping evolve the hardware and software products to create solutions for universities, casinos and financial institutions across the US. He has an extensive sales and managerial history in digital media and heads up the Skybox wholesale distributor Network as well as the Rise Display commercial sales division.
Mr. Cahoy Graduated with a B.S. in Economics from South Dakota State University in 1998. Mr. Cahoy has received a certificate for completing the Digital Signage Federation Foundations courses along with certificates from the Digital Signage Experts Group (DSEG) for Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) and Digital Signage Media Expert (DSME). He was elected to the board of directors for the Digital Signage Federation in 2016 and has volunteered for the last 6 years where he is presently the Vice Chairman.
ROB JOHNSON (CFO, Houston, Texas)
Rob is a board-licensed Texas CPA and the President & Managing Partner of Sabre Financial Group. Highly analytical and recognized as a strategic and forward-looking thinker, Rob is also a skilled teacher and facilitator, committed to raising the financial awareness of business professionals within an organization and mediating difficult business problems to achieve a favorable outcome for all parties.
Rob has substantial experience and technical expertise in small-business finance, financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, economic modeling, cash and working capital management, risk mitigation and investment evaluations.
An alumnus of Price Waterhouse and a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Rob has served as a strategic advisor and financial expert in both corporate and consulting capacities during his 23-year career.
BLAIR WILSON (Director)
Mr. Wilson has been the President and CEO of Canadian ecoEquity Corp., a private leasing company since June 1991. Mr. Wilson is also Chief Executive officer of Forbidden Spirits Distilling Corp. (TSX: VDKA), a public craft distillery located in Kelowna, British Columbia. Between June 2004 and January 2006, Mr. Wilson was a Member of Parliament for West Vancouver – Sunshine Coast – Sea to Sky Country and between 1994 and 1996 was a director and CFO of Pan Smak Pizza Inc., a company formerly listed on the TSXV.
Mr. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Victoria and a Chartered Accountants designation from the Canadian Institute of chartered Accountants. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia until his resignation in 2016.
EUGENE HODGSON (Director)
Mr. Hodgson brings 30 years of private and public sector experience. Mr. Hodgson began his public sector career in the Northwest Territories where he acted as Senior Policy Advisor on resource based projects. In the early 1980’s Mr. Hodgson served as Executive Assistant to the Minister of the Environment, Lands, Parks and Housing in the British Columbia government. Mr. Hodgson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Calgary. In addition, Mr. Hodgson has served on the board of directors of numerous corporations including Equitable Real Estate Investment Corp, Timmins Gold Corp and Red Fund Capital Corp (formerly Parana Copper Corporation) and is the former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Vancouver Community College.
CHANDLER SUPRINA (Adviser, Hauppauge NY)
Mr. Suprina has been in the seating and furniture industry for nearly 25 years providing high quality and innovative products that meet the demands of his ever expanding client roster. As President of DreamSeat, Mr. Suprina has guided DreamSeat to record sales numbers and growth over the past five years with an aggressive expansion into the gaming and Esports space. Since 2019 DreamSeat has provided custom seating solutions to over 70 Sports Books across the US and has become a trusted partner of major book operators such as Caesars, FanDuel, and many more. DreamSeat’s ability to adapt and evolve to cater to new markets and provide bespoke product offerings has been a major focus for Mr. Suprina and is what has allowed DreamSeat to successfully enter and dominate these new markets and to forge unparalleled relationships in the Sports and Sports Gambling world.
Mr. Suprina’s education started at his family’s business at the age of 12 installing bleachers and stadium seating and continued into sales at the young age of 17, post high school he attended SUNY Albany where he graduated with a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Finance.
MIKE BAYOFF (Adviser)
Mr. Bayoff’s professional career has spanned more than 33 years with Ilitch Holdings in Detroit, Michigan, He has held numerous positions in the area of marketing, advertising, ticket sales, sponsorship sales, public relations, new media, publishing and new business development at Little Caesars Pizza and Olympia Entertainment. Currently Mr. Bayoff holds the position of Director of Strategic Hockey Alliances for the Detroit Red Wings. Mr. Bayoff is responsible for all Red Wings alumni-related programs, revenue generation and interactions with former players and the Red Wings Alumni Association. In addition Mr. Bayoff oversees the college hockey events at Little Caesars Arena which includes the Great Lakes Invitations and Duel in the D featuring the University of Michigan vs. Michigan State University. Mr. Bayoff was instrumental in securing the Big Ten Hockey Championships for 2015 and 2017 at Joe Louis Arena and programmed over 18 days of professional, college, junior and amateur games and events during the Hockeytown Winter Festival at Comerica Park in December 2013.
Mr. Bayoff holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing from Central Michigan University. He and his wife Susan have two children and reside in suburban Detroit.
BRET BLANCHARD ( Advisor, Director of Brand Partnerships, Troy, Michigan)
Over the past 22 years, Bret has had an extensive and impactful career in brand management and business development, specifically in the
automotive and sports industries, with a focus on advertising, trademark licensing and partnership marketing.
In 2001, he left the ad world and continued his career in brand marketing, joining Equity Management Inc., a leading licensing firm in Troy, Michigan. During his 17 year career at EMI, Bret progressed through the ranks ultimately becoming Senior Vice President of General Motors Licensing. While representing the General Motors global licensing program at EMI, Bret strategically leveraged the Chevrolet, Corvette, HUMMER, Goodwrench and ACDelco equites to expand brand awareness, protect the iconic and valuable trademarks, generate substantial revenue to reinvest back into the marketing program, and positively impact consumers, both young and old, through exciting automotive inspired products including toys, replica cars, bicycles, lottery games, apparel, footwear, watches, eyewear, fragrances, power tools, luxury golf carts and boats. In addition to overseeing the General Motors licensing program, Bret led the Rawlings Sporting Goods licensing program where he negotiated new partnerships for collectibles, footwear, socks, apparel, video games, eyewear, publishing, sports drinks and the Rawlings All American Grill inside the Texas Rangers ballpark. In 2018, Bret joined Sports Management Network as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, he worked on securing new brand sponsorships for the famed Team Penske and Andretti Autosport race teams, brand endorsements for NASCAR superstars Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney, charitable programs for NASCAR superstar Ryan Blaney and the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation, personal service agreements for IndyCar Star Marco Andretti and launched new licensing new product collaborations for racing and cultural icon Mario Andretti along with other strategic marketing initiatives to maximize brand awareness, growth, value and revenue for SMN athletes, drivers, race teams and celebrity clients.
After two years at Sports Management Network, Bret joined the Skybox Sports Network team in May of 2020 as Director of Brand Partnerships focusing on overseeing and accelerating the success of Skybox Sports Network global retail, corporate and consumer sales, marketing,advertising, sponsorships, strategic partnerships and licensing initiatives. A graduate of Western Michigan University in 1997, Bret earned dual bachelor degrees in Business Management and Criminal Justice. Bret is a lifetime Michigan native and lives in Troy with his wife, Michelle, son, Blake, and daughter, Blair.
Justin Smith(Senior Project Manager,Tonganoxie, KS )
Justin manages all logistics and projects from initial placement to site surveys and final installations, he is an organized manager and a critical team member.
Justin has 9 years of experience with Rise Display, he lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, two kids and four pets, he enjoys spending his free time playing music and watching sports.
DANIEL TSE (VP European Sales, Shenzhen, China)
Daniel works in Shenzhen for Skybox Sports Network. He graduated from the University of Shenzhen, majoring in international trade. Daniel was employed by renowned digital signage companies from 2012-2018 in sales management. He is now dedicated to building the brand awareness for SSN via UI and content development. As the bridge between SSN and our manufacturers, he is having a deeper understanding from both sides and now stepping forward to implement the strategy to optimize user experience and consequently generate more sales in the expansion of SSN in the European market.
AARON GLADISH (Newsroom Director, Victoria, British Columbia)
Aaron is Skybox Sports Network’s Newsroom Director and our longest-term employee. He manages two shifts per day, 365 days a year, schedules content, trains new staff, and proves his dependability over and over again. Aaron’s professional approach and experience sets the standards to his support staff and they all look to his leadership and dedication to the final product.
Jim Mahoney(Sales Account Executive,Wantagh, NY)
Jim has over 35 years of experience in consultative sales, marketing and management with expertise in the ticker and digital signage marketplace. Jim is a product specialist that
represents the retail, education, hospitality and gaming industry sectors.
Joe Hawk(Sales Account Executive,Oakdale, PA)
With nearly 15 years of technology sales, Joe Hawk has been focusing on LED ticker sales with Rise Display the last 12. His industries of concentration have been higher education, with particular attention on assisting business schools build out dedicated finance lab spaces, K12, corporate & financial offices, retail, and sports bars & casinos.
STEVE BOFFO (Advisory Board, London, England)
Steve founded 2DB with Jim Davis in 1998. He specialises in computer consultancy, project management, systems analysis and software development.
Steve started his computing career with Mecca Bookmakers in 1985, before moving to SIS in 1987. During his 13 years with SIS, Steve played a key role in the design, development and specification of many of their benchmark products including central site data systems, SisText and NexSIS. In 1996, he was appointed head of SIS Software Development & Technical Support. Two years later he left to form 2DB.
On the rare occasions when Steve’s not deep in the business of technology, he’s most likely to be found on a golf course working on his swing.
JIM DAVIS (Advisory Board, London, England)
Jim founded 2DB with Steve Boffo in 1998. His focus is consultancy, project management, systems analysis, software development and operational research.
With an honours degree in mathematics from Oxford University, Jim got into the business of computers in 1975 and hasn’t stopped since.
In 1981 he developed the first 12 screen colour text system for Mecca Bookmakers (now part of William Hill). Since then Jim has led many worldwide projects developing innovative, tailored digital systems for most of the major bookmaking brands.
Jim likes his music and he likes it loud, from Amy McDonald to Scooter.
