Over the past 22 years, Bret has had an extensive and impactful career in brand management and business development, specifically in the automotive and sports industries, with a focus on advertising, trademark licensing and partnership marketing. In 1998 he began his career as a Traffic Coordinator at Bozell Worldwide, a top advertising agency based in Southfield, Michigan, where he worked on the Chrysler, Jeep, Red Wings and Little Caesars accounts. In 1999, Bozell was repositioned as FCB Worldwide and Bret was promoted to Account Executive. In this role, he oversaw the Coleman Outdoor Company advertising account and managed their 100th Anniversary print, radio and television campaigns and also worked on the Richard Childress Racing / NASCAR marketing partnership. In 2001, he left the ad world and continued his career in brand marketing, joining Equity Management Inc., a leading licensing firm in Troy, Michigan. During his 17 year career at EMI, Bret progressed through the ranks ultimately becoming Senior Vice President of General Motors Licensing. While representing the General Motors global licensing program at EMI, Bret strategically leveraged the Chevrolet, Corvette, HUMMER, Goodwrench and ACDelco equites to expand brand awareness, protect the iconic and valuable trademarks, generate substantial revenue to reinvest back into the marketing program, and positively impact consumers, both young and old, through exciting automotive inspired products including toys, replica cars, bicycles, lottery games, apparel, footwear, watches, eyewear, fragrances, power tools, luxury golf carts and boats. In addition to overseeing the General Motors licensing program, Bret led the Rawlings Sporting Goods licensing program where he negotiated new partnerships for collectibles, footwear, socks, apparel, video games, eyewear, publishing, sports drinks and the Rawlings All American Grill inside the Texas Rangers ballpark. In 2018, Bret joined Sports Management Network as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, he worked on securing new brand sponsorships for the famed Team Penske and Andretti Autosport race teams, brand endorsements for NASCAR superstars Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney, charitable programs for NASCAR superstar Ryan Blaney and the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation, personal service agreements for IndyCar Star Marco Andretti and launched new licensing new product collaborations for racing and cultural icon Mario Andretti along with other strategic marketing initiatives to maximize brand awareness, growth, value and revenue for SMN athletes, drivers, race teams and celebrity clients. After two years at Sports Management Network, Bret joined the Skybox Sports Network team in May of 2020 as Director of Brand Partnerships focusing on overseeing and accelerating the success of Skybox Sports Network global retail, corporate and consumer sales, marketing, advertising, sponsorships, strategic partnerships and licensing initiatives. A graduate of Western Michigan University in 1997, Bret earned dual bachelor degrees in Business Management and Criminal Justice. Bret is a lifetime Michigan native and lives in Troy with his wife, Michelle, son, Blake, and daughter, Blair.
Rob is a board-licensed Texas CPA and the President & Managing Partner of Sabre Financial Group. Highly analytical and recognized as a strategic and forward-looking thinker, Rob is also a skilled teacher and facilitator, committed to raising the financial awareness of business professionals within an organization and mediating difficult business problems to achieve a favorable outcome for all parties. Rob has substantial experience and technical expertise in small-business finance, financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, economic modeling, cash and working capital management, risk mitigation and investment evaluations. An alumnus of Price Waterhouse and a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Rob has served as a strategic advisor and financial expert in both corporate and consulting capacities during his 23-year career.
Ron has had an extensive entrepreneurial career, with experience in business from construction to sports memorabilia, helping Skybox Sports Network establish itself in its current market niche. His credibility drives the company’s product development. Ron has committed his activities as a co-founder of SSN in identifying and delivering a level of quality to the customers . His innate ability to work with industry professionals and build on relationships has positioned SSN in its most recent and most significant Agreements.Hands-on and ever present, Ron finds the time to bring new business to Skybox Sports Network.
Daniel works in Shenzhen for Skybox Sports Network. He graduated from the University of Shenzhen, majoring in international trade. Daniel was employed by renowned digital signage companies from 2012-2018 in sales management. He is now dedicated to building the brand awareness for SSN via UI and content development. As the bridge between SSN and our manufacturers, he is having a deeper understanding from both sides and now stepping forward to implement the strategy to optimize user experience and consequently generate more sales in the expansion of SSN in the European market.
Aaron is Skybox Sports Network’s Newsroom Director and our longest-term employee. He manages two shifts per day, 365 days a year, schedules content, trains new staff, and proves his dependability over and over again. Aaron’s professional approach and experience sets the standards to his support staff and they all look to his leadership and dedication to the final product.
Steve founded 2DB with Jim Davis in 1998. He specialises in computer consultancy, project management, systems analysis and software development. Steve started his computing career with Mecca Bookmakers in 1985, before moving to SIS in 1987. During his 13 years with SIS, Steve played a key role in the design, development and specification of many of their benchmark products including central site data systems, SisText and NexSIS. In 1996, he was appointed head of SIS Software Development & Technical Support. Two years later he left to form 2DB. On the rare occasions when Steve's not deep in the business of technology, he's most likely to be found on a golf course working on his swing.
Jim founded 2DB with Steve Boffo in 1998. His focus is consultancy, project management, systems analysis, software development and operational research. With an honours degree in mathematics from Oxford University, Jim got into the business of computers in 1975 and hasn't stopped since. In 1981 he developed the first 12 screen colour text system for Mecca Bookmakers (now part of William Hill). Since then Jim has led many worldwide projects developing innovative, tailored digital systems for most of the major bookmaking brands. Jim likes his music and he likes it loud, from Amy McDonald to Scooter.
Alexis Clark is a financial services professional with nearly 25 years of experience in banking and finance in both the US and Australia. Alexis is a chartered accountant and a chartered financial analyst and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Adelaide (Australia). Among other roles, Alexis has worked as an equity analyst for Merrill Lynch in Melbourne and as CEO of an independent oil & gas company in Texas. He has an exceptionally strong background in accounting, taxation, financial modeling, and credit/equity analysis, and he is a self-motivated and experienced business professional with both the requisite technical knowledge and personal tenacity to drive success for his clients.
